Hi everyone and welcome to Blathnaid's web site. Today it is six months since Blathnaid passed away and we are still broken without her. She had a special place in our family and connected us all together and it is impossible to describe the loss of such a beautiful person and the vast bleak landscape of our lives without her can sometimes be simply too much to bear. Blathnaid, tragically, like many other young people endured horrendous suffering and pain in the 17 months she survived after her diagnosis and she did so with such serenity, courage and love that we simply cannot ignore her determination to help others. My child was only 13 years old when she died but her brief life has already had a profound affect on others. Please help us to carry out her wishes and celebrate all that she represented. We are so proud to be able to call her ours and I will always be thankful for the precious time I had with her.

I miss you Baw Baw and I love you to the sun and back.
